Ammonium heptamolybdate

By heating an ammonia solution of molybdenum trioxide, the ammonia is removed to produce ammonium heptamolybdate.
Ammonium hepta-molybdate (ammonium molybdate) is an inorganic, water-soluble, non-combustible compound.

applications:

  • Chemical laboratories: It is used as a reagent in chemical experiments to measure the amount of phosphate, silicate, arsenate, and lead in aqueous solutions.
  • Catalysts in industry
  • Corrosion inhibitors
